Very strong yet light weight fiber tubing especially crafted to our rigid specifications for close tolerances, working ease, and durability, these rocket frames cover a wide spectrum of diameters and wall thicknesses that are available from LOC/PRECISION.

CUSTOM TUBE CUTTING: If you'd like a custom length, please add Tube Cut to your cart. Then in the Order Notes prior to calculating shipping, define what airframe gets the cut and specifically where. Please note this is PER CUT. For example, if you need three cuts, please add a quantity of three Tube Cut to your order. There is a 3-5 business day lead time on custom tube cuts.

DESCRIPTION

Our airframe tubing comes in a wide variety of sizes from thin wall to heavy duty cardboard tubing.

AIR FRAME TUBING

LBT-50 1" Airframe 12" : LBT-50 1″ Airframe x 12″ long. 1″ O.D x 0.95″ ID Fits CT-1.0 Can also be used as 24mm Motor Tube.
1.14" Airframe 34" : BT-114 1.14″ Airframe x 34″ long. Can also be used as 29mm Motor Tube.
1.52" (38mm) Airframe/MMT Tubing: Heavy Duty. 1.52″ ID x 1.625″ OD. Wall Thickness is 0.0475. This same tubing is also used for 38mm motor tubes. Fits nose cone PNC-1.52 Similar OD to BT-60 with just over 2x wall thickness for durability. Sold in 34″ Lengths.
1.90" Airframe Tubing : White 1.9″ Airframe Tubing 34″ Long 1.78" ID x 1.88" OD
2.14" (54mm) Airframe Tubing: Heavy Duty Tubing. 2.14″ID x 2.26″ OD. Standard 54mm Motor tubing sold in 34″ Lengths. Fits PNC-2.14.
2.56" (63mm) Airframe Tubing: White Tube 2.56″ ID x 2.63″ ODx30″ in length. Same ID as BT-80 but with thicker walls resulting in a slightly wider OD. Excellent durability and still light weight!
3.00" (75mm) Airframe Tubing: White Tubing 3.0″ ID x 3.1″OD x 34″ length. Fits PNC-3.0. NOT the same as our 75mm Motor tubing. 7.8oz weight.
3.90" (98mm) Airframe Tubing: White standard Air frame Tubing. 3.9″ ID x 4.0″ OD with a wall thickness of 0.05″ Sold in 34″ Lengths. Fits PNC 3.90. NOT the same as our 98mm Motor Tubes.
5.38" Airframe Tubing 24": Very strong yet light weight fiber tubing specially crafted to our rigid specifications for close tolerances, working ease and durability. ID = 5.38″ OD= 5.54″; Length = 24″ – 15oz. This Heavy Duty Airframe combines strength with light weight. Closely wound Glassine overwrap makes painting easy. Fits PNC-5.38 and PNC-5.38L nose cones
5.38" Airframe Tubing 34": **New length is now 34″, the 42″ airframe is now discontinued. Very strong yet light weight fiber tubing specially crafted to our rigid specifications for close tolerances, working ease and durability. ID = 5.38″ OD= 5.54″; Length = 34″ – 20.4oz weight. This Heavy Duty Airframe combines strength with light weight. Closely wound Glassine overwrap makes painting easy. Fits PNC-5.38 and PNC-5.38L nose cones
7.51" Airframe Tube 30": Very strong yet light weight fiber tubing specially crafted to our rigid specifications for close tolerances, working ease and durability. ID = 7.51″ OD= 7.675″ Length = 1 piece of 30″. This Heavy Duty Airframe combines strength with light weight. Closely wound Glassine over wrap makes painting easy. Fits nose cone PNC-7.51

The best service

LOCs' airframes are well made and high quality. They take some time to do custom cuts but its well worth it as there cuts are precise and well done. If theres a problem the customer service at LOC is professional and simply put is the absolute best.
