I bought the 7.5 inch T-LOC last summer from Performance Hobbies. The kit comes is a very large box and is very well packed. I had to go thru the box several times to make sure I didn’t miss something. There are no instructions included with the kit, not even a list of parts. Several people have addressed this, stating that if you are building a kit like this you don’t need directions. I disagree, at least a parts list would be helpful. I built the kit my usual way, installing the motor mount and fwd ring, then installing the fins and rear centering ring. If I was going to do it again I would try LOC’s new style of assembling the fin can outside the rocket. I used a Missleworks RRC-2 altimeter, with the main charge connected to the drogue connection ( fires at Apex). I flew it last week on an Aerotech J-500 with the delay cut to 11 sec, as a back up. It was a fabulous flight to about 1500 ft. I would recommend this rocket to anyone.
Put her up on a J275w. Perfect flight!!
This rocket is large and in charge. The built in av-bay is ingenious. Works perfectly and makes the fin can bullet proof! Such a smart and solid setup. Another perfect release from LOC!
Fitment and quality as expected from LOC. This is a big presentation rocket that can fly on smaller motors.
