    Great flier, simple build

I've got the single 54mm version of this one and it's a great flier (loves the K456DM). Build is simple and straightforward. Light enough to fly well on I motors, this would be a great L2 kit. I also have mine set up for dual deploy, and would recommend moving to a larger parachute even if you don't add anything extra to this kit. My IROC is nearly 50 oz lighter than this one as built out and yet came with a 58" chute. I use the 78" that was in my Hyperloc 1600 and find that it is more appropriately sized. It's a great kit, the fins do hang down below the bottom of the body tube, so they do contact the ground first. I've not had a problem with this with the upsized parachute, but imagine this might be an issue with a smaller chute and harder surfaces.

My favorite kit of all time!

This is not a beginner kit!
You should know how to assemble a rocket of this magnitude.
I have built 2 of them, the first one back in 1997. I built it pretty much stock. I flew it a few times and then sold it.
I bought another one a few years ago but, with a 54mm and 7 x 29 mm motor mounts. I has flown on K's with H air starts.
With this mount, it gives you allot of options.
It has about 5 flight on it now.
I just wish there were still thicker phenolic couplers around to reinforce it with.

The product is excellent. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I really think instructions for a basic build would help people without as much experience. They would sell more.
