LOC-IV 4"
The LOC-IV is one of the ADVANCED SERIES of kits, which include factory pre-slotted airframe and through-the-wall fin construction, Now including payload section! The LOC IV has been the best selling kit in our history (perhaps all of high power history as well) Recently upgraded to 38mm motor mount and to-the-motor mount construction, this kit is the perfect Level 1 certification rocket kit. You can even park fly it well on F and G motors with the optional MMA-2 motor adapter. As evolution would have it, this 4-inch LOC-IV rocket kit now sports a 23" booster section and 11" payload for optional dual deployment set up.

Got my level 1 on the Loc IV. It was fun to build and fly. It didn't come with instructions and online instructions were outdated, but customer service emailed current instructions to me immediately. Flys straight as an arrow.
Just finished my build of the Loc IV. Even though no instructions were included I found them online. I deviated from the instructions slightly, so mid motor tube ring could be epoxied from both sides, and leaving aft motor tube ring off until all fins were epoxied from the inside. I was a little disappointed in the nose cone as it had a considerable amount of seam flash. It only caused extra sanding. She’s ready for paint now!!! I am looking forward to March when the club has first launch of the year. I will be using her to achieve my Level 1 certification. All in all a great build. Looking forward to the EZI-65 for Level 2. Great products!!! I will continue this review after she has flown.
Great rocket! Flew mine on a J370 to 4200’. Perfect flight! Can’t wait to fly it again!
Great rocket, perfect for level 1 attempts, strong and a solid weight. Used an H133 to keep it fairly low, went straight as an arrow in 12mph winds. Left off the bottom ring during construction so I could epoxy all around the inside of fins. Put the bottom ring on last.
After watching u tube I chose the Loc 4 to be my level 1cert.rocket.
