Now this rocket is distinct in the way it looks all black with the decals. Head turner at the launches and people ask about it. Great job again Loc
Flew my L-1 on this with an H-100. Came with everything needed with room for adaptations, the flight was straight as an arrow, fun build landed without a scratch. Looking forward to tossing it back into the air at some future launch it's a great flyer.
This is my go-to kit for burning up G and H motors. The four fin design gives dead straight, non-spinning flights. Straightforward build and very rugged. I have over 20 flights on mine. This is one of two kits I recommend in our club for L1, (the other is the Loc Hi Tech. It builds easily, offers good flights on 29mm hobby line or single use G motors as prep and a nice 1800-2000' flight on most cert low H motors.
Bought this kit for my level one certification. I upgraded it with the loc 38mm retainer and a 6'' electronics bay. I also stretched it 12'' using loc's tube cut to make it a little more dual deploy friendly in the future. The payload bay for the main if doing dual deploy is a little tight considering the nose cone shoulder and avbay shoulder/hardware, so stretching it adds stability and more room. Overall a stable, fast flyer! Did 2193ft at 306mph on an h135. Cant wait to go a little higher and faster now
Got my Jr. L1 cert a few months ago flying a forte on an H123. It flew beautifully with no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this kit for any juniors or adults looking to get certified or get into hpr. Thanks LOC!
