Our fire resistant blankets is a special material, Known as Banwear by it's street name, it is a blend of cotton and nylon and THEN coated with a flame resistant coating. Why does this matter? Simply, longevity! This material has a longer usable life span than similar brand name product. Stop charring holes in your blankets and risking your recovery gear. 6x6 and larger blankets now include a grommet for strength.
FLAME RESISTANT BLANKETS
- Fire Resistant Blanket 2.25"x2.25" for up to 1.14" Airframe: Fits BT-1.00 and BT1.14
- Fire Resistant Blanket 3"x3" for up to 38mm Airframe: Nomex Blanket 3″ x 3″
- FRB Starter 6x6 3 Pack: Nomex Starter Blanket 6″ x 6″ – 3 pack. These are good for 4-5 flights each.
- Fire Resistant Blanket 6" x 6" for up to 2.56" Airframe: Nomex Blanket 6″ x 6″
- FRB Starter 9x9 2 Pack: Nomex Starter Blanket 9″ x 9″ – 2 pack. These are good for 4-5 flights each.

They're ok, it's nomex but there is no reinforced stitching anywhere, not even the buttonhole. At this price, It's not really a complaint, just more of a heads up for anyone wondering. The edges are already starting to fray loose as well, and I haven't flown them yet.
Hole too small for shock cord
Getting black burns during ejection testing. I know i should use dog barf. But i jeed two sizes bigger too.
The groment is an excellent touch to add support to the flame blanket.
