One of the ADVANCED SERIES of kits, which include factory pre-slotted airframe and through-the-wall fin construction, the HYPERLOC 1600 is an electronic "Multi Stage Deployment" kit with a 75mm motor mount. the HYPERLOC 1600 was designed specifically for the HyperTek 1600cc L motor but will accept a number of different hybrid and standard composite motors. We included our popular EB-5.38 electronics bay, and additional Tubular Nylon shock cord and a 28" drogue parachute. This rocket is for the serious high power flyer! Parachute Recovery. Now including LOC-N-FIN / Ring construction. Perfect fit taking fin alignment guessing out of the mix!

Perfect Larger Rocket!

I love this kit, it's great for a wide range of motors (J-L) and the materials are top notch. I really appreciate the 3/8" fins as they have made several landings on one of our club's dry lake beds with no harm or even so much as a chip. The rocket always gets comments both on the table and in flight, yet it's a relatively simple and straightforward build. I have replaced the nose attachment with something a bit more sturdy and it does have a custom 120" Captain America shield main that matches the paint scheme. Highly recommend this kit especially for someone like myself that is looking to move up through the L2 capable motor series to L3.
