The AMRAAM 4 is a very impressive, 1/2 scale kit for Level 1 and 2 flights. This rocket stands 77" tall, is 3.9" diameter and has a 4 main and 4 canard fin design. This rocket comes standard with a 54 motor mount and can fly on H thru J motors. HAMR adapter included for 38mm motors. At ~78 oz., the 50" parachute is sized right for the stock kit to make a safe landing under most field conditions. This kit comes standard with 1010 rail guides for use with 80/20 brand launch rails. Add an electronics bay for easy dual deployment!

Love this kit!

This one is always a crowd pleaser, not only does it look great, it flies fantastically with great flights on everything from an H180 up to a long burn J180! I now have about 7 or 8 flights on mine and it's been sturdy (many are on a dry lake bed) and versatile, allowing for flights on our alternate field that often has low ceilings due to winter fog. One of my favorite kits, and I own a LOT of kits and a lot of AMRAAMs. I have modified it just a bit to fly dual deploy for the higher flights, but otherwise the stock setup is fantastic. Highly recommend.
