Perfect L2 kit, great flier.

Our rocket club bought these are part of a group buy a few years back and we've all had a ton of flights on them. I've recommended this kit as well to several folks getting their L2's and they've all been successful. It's a simple build, similar to regular hobby kits, but scaled up. It's size and shape make it a nice low and slow flier for L2 with motor deploy. (I've added an electronic apogee deploy in the nose with a more sturdy shock cord attach) The upward swept fins keep it out of trouble on rougher landings. Having them at 1/4" as well also greatly helps as opposed to the IROC (see my other review). Highly recommend.

Sturdy workhorse

I love my Mini-Magg and once buried the nosecone in 8 inches of mud due to a rookie mistake of forgetting ejection powder in an H123 reload. Oops! Extended it another 24 inches with a tube extension and more than 50 flights on it. Great L2 certification model.

What a fun kit. Flies great and it is big enough to keep eyes on. The large size makes building easies as everything is accessible. Straight forward build process, but leaves room to make some choices on your own. We have an "unofficial" club goal of drag racing 8 of these this year and I can't wait.

So much fun I have 2

This 8s an awesome little kit. Needs some noseweight. Flies great and everybody at the launch loves watching it fly. It is so much fun that I have 2 of them.

This is my favorite kit. Its small enough to handle. Large enough to see at high altitude. It just looks good. The kit has come along way with 3 different fin attachment design over the years that I remember. This glue through the body to the motor tube is the best I have seen. It used to be glued to the body only and after a few hard landings would break loose. This kit is a big improvement. Larry T
